Putting into service

Any user shall be bound to enforce a procedure for putting the technical equipment into operation in accordance with the respective technical regulation for carrying out technical check-ups and periodical examinations.

The technical equipment can be put into operations for the first time or after a significant change if an independent legal entity has made first technical check-up with regard to the envisaged conditions of usage, regarding the following:

  • mounting,
  • installation,
  • setup, and
  • safety of the technical equipment.

After the first technical check-up, depending on the technical regulation on the respective technical equipment, the user shall file a request to the Inspectorate for immediate putting into operation of the technical equipment, or within eight days from the day of receipt of the report on the carried out check-up of the equipment at the latest.

The user shall be bound to submit the following documentation with the request referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article: report from the check-up of the technical equipment from an independent legal entity, notarised statement that he/she has signed a contract with an independent legal entity that will carry out technical check-ups and periodical examinations, schedule of technical check-ups and periodical examinations and other documents set out in the technical regulations for each separate area.

On the basis of the filed request, the Inspectorate shall review the attached documentation referred to in paragraph 2 of this Article so as to determine the compliance with the requirements for putting the technical equipment into operation.

In the cases when the documentation referred to in paragraph 2 of this Article has been filed, the Inspectorate, after the review, shall make a decision on putting the technical equipment of the user into operation within seven days from the day of filing the request.

The Inspectorate shall record the decision for putting the technical equipment referred to in paragraph 4 of this Article into operation, in accordance with Article 8 of the Law on Technical Inspection.
